Ignite Cycle is thrilled to announce Amy Stanaland as the new Executive Director for its Mountain Brook and Pepper Place locations. A passionate advocate for indoor cycling since her college days at The University of Georgia, Amy is now leading the charge at Ignite, ensuring an even more dynamic and community-driven experience for riders of all levels.

Amy’s expertise in the cycling world—both as an instructor and an active community member—makes her the perfect fit to guide Ignite through its next chapter. Whether she’s greeting riders at the front desk, leading high-energy classes, or engaging with the ever-growing Ignite community, Amy is dedicated to fostering an environment where motivation thrives, relationships grow, and every ride leaves participants feeling stronger and more connected.

“When I moved to Birmingham, one of the first things I did was take a class at Ignite,” Amy shared. “I was immediately hooked after that one ride. I knew the studio was about to be a home away from home for me.”

More than just a workout, Ignite Cycle is built on the power of connection—inside and outside The Bike Room. Under Amy’s leadership, the studio will continue to provide a space where riders feel empowered, celebrated, and part of a supportive community.

“Every time you enter the studio, judgment of yourself can be checked at the door,” Amy added. “Ignite is a space to feel celebrated, to feel strong, to feel like you belong without having to change one single thing about yourself. We’re a community that genuinely wants to uplift one another.”

With Amy at the helm, Ignite Cycle is set to further its mission of inspiring, motivating, and challenging riders in the most encouraging way possible. Whether you’re looking for a high-energy sweat session, a new fitness challenge, or a welcoming community, Ignite has something special for everyone.
